
Stir-fried spicy beef rice with greens
Quick and easy but packed with flavour, stir-fries are a great option to feed your family in a flash. We use spring greens in this recipe, but you can add more veg when they're out of season, if you like.
- about 250g lean sirloin or frying steaktrimmed of all fat and cut into thin strips
- sunflower oil
- a thumb-sized piece root gingershredded
- 2 tsp chinese five spice
- 200g spring greensshredded
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 pack Tilda Rizazz brown basmatiheated according to pack instructions
- 4 spring onionsshredded
- 1 red chillishredded

Method
step 1
Stir-fry the beef in 1 tbsp oil until browned then add the ginger and fry for a minute. Add the five spice, cook for another minute then add the greens with a splash of water and the soy and stir-fry until just tender. Add the rice and toss everything together. Serve in bowls topped with spring onion and chilli.
