
Chocolate cherry mousse shots
Delicious, boozy, dark chocolate mouse pots are topped with an individual cherry and kirsch. These sweet treats look elaborate but are ready in just 20 minutes, perfect for handing round to guests.
- 150g 70 per cent dark chocolate
- 2 eggsseparated
- 6 cherries
- 200ml double cream
- 1 tbsp kirsch

Method
step 1
Beat together the egg yolks and kirsch and gently mix into the melted chocolate with the 4 tbsp of cream. Whisk the egg whites to firm peaks and fold them through the chocolate mixture.
Spoon into 6 shot glasses and chill. Dollop some softly whipped cream on top of each mousse and push in a cherry to decorate (with stalk).
