Try these frozen margarita slushies then check out our classic margarita, frozen margarita, margarita mocktail and Paloma cocktail.

  • 500g strawberries
    as ripe as possible, stalks removed
  • 240ml tequila
  • 120ml Cointreau or Grand Marnier
  • 4 tbsp sugar syrup
  • 2 limes
    juiced, plus frozen slices to serve

Method

  • step 1

    The day before serving, tip all of the ingredients into a freezer-proof box, stir, and freeze overnight.

  • step 2

    To make the slushies, tip everything into a liquidiser or food processor and whizz until smooth.

  • step 3

    Divide the margarita mix between glasses and add a frozen lime slice to serve.
